Oral hygiene

Infection in oral cavity (mouth) can lead to infection / pain in gastrointestinal (GI) tract. Clean your teeth twice a day with soft brush. Use medium soft brush. Do not use hard brush to clean teeth as it may damage teeth. Soft brushes are used in certain disease condition, but in general it may not remove food and plaque between the teeth. Use oral floss regularly to remove food and plaque between the teeth. Gum infection results in bleeding and teeth may fall early. Clean teeth properly after eating food (specially after sweet and chocolate). Bacteria grow on the food present between teeth and release acid which damages teeth. Regular smoking loosen gum. Therefore, stop smoking. Visit your dentist once in a year.
